The focus of this 140 unit Housing project is to extend the plan of this New England town. In partnership with RE:Investments, Machado•Blake Design has designed this collection of buildings to create a diverse living experience.
The project is steeped in the typological history of the town's Mill buildings and is scaled to strike a balance between the established downtown scale and its adjacent residential neighborhood.
The housing is comprised of both flats and townhouses with a wide range of unit sizes. There is a portion set aside for low-income housing. The main parking is concealed under the main plaza and holds more than 1/3 of the required parking for the project.
